• Please respect the properties and privacy of our garden owners. This event is for garden

entry only. Keep out of homes and other buildings.

• Gardens will be open strictly from 9am till 4pm.

• Pre-ordered lunches will be available for pickup from 9am -11am at St Joseph’s School.

Please have your lunch tickets ready to present so this process runs smoothly.

Take your picnic to any of our beautiful gardens to enjoy at your leisure.

• You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and enjoy it within any of the gardens.

• This event is not suitable for children under 14 years. Children 14 years and above must have a

ticket and wear a wristband. Dependent babies are of course welcome.

• Take only photographs, and leave only footprints. Please take any rubbish with you, and leave

gardens how you find them.

• You may visit as many gardens as you wish, in any order.

• The tour will proceed in all weather conditions. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and

footwear.

• Wristbands must be worn at all times to gain entry to the gardens.

• Please respect our smoke free policy.

• No pets.

• Our gardens are not suitable for wheelchairs.

• Public toilets are available in Mangaweka and Taihape. Portaloos will be available for use in

some of our gardens. Please take note of where these are.

• Not all gardens have cell-phone reception, so please plan your trip in advance.

• While there is ample parking at some gardens,

others are tighter for space - we recommend carpooling with friends where possible.

• We will have volunteer hosts at each venue to help with any questions you have.

• We have a range of fantastic stalls, all selling a beautiful selection of items - ideal for spoiling

yourself and getting some Christmas shopping done!

• The vast majority of stalls will be located at

Meredith and Andrew Carpenters’ garden - Ruanui - 20 minutes north of Taihape, 

and

Amanda and Rob Colliers’ garden - Ngata - 20 minutes east of Taihape.

• We are hoping our vendors will have eftpos but please be prepared and bring cash in case.

• Tickets are non refundable.
